Co-sell hub

HubSpot for professional services and financial services.

Professional services means law firms, accountancies, consultancies, surveyors, and anyone else whose product is their people. Financial services means banks, lenders, building societies, wealth managers, advice firms and brokers.

Those two markets are all we do. The licence is the easy part. What stalls these deals is the back office system nobody can integrate with, the compliance question you cannot answer on the call, and the partner group that has never shared a contact list in its life.

Why bring us in

Four ways we make your deal easier

gavel

Industry knowledge

We only sell into two markets, so we already know how a law firm books a matter, how an adviser evidences Consumer Duty, and why a partner group will not share contacts. You do not have to teach us the sector mid-deal.

bolt

Deals close faster

A short paid workshop early in your cycle turns a vague requirement into a scoped, sequenced plan. It removes the two things that kill these deals: uncertainty about what they are buying, and no urgency about the cost of doing nothing.

hub

Complex integration

Intelliflo, InterAction, Acturis, DealCloud, Clio. When the buyer says HubSpot cannot talk to their back office, we are the answer, and we will tell you honestly whether it is built, in feasibility or new ground.

groups

Co-prospecting

We run roundtables, webinars and sector dinners that generate pipeline we share. If you want a presence in UK legal or financial services, come and use ours.

How we work

Workshop first, then phase it

We do not ask a firm to sign a twelve month implementation on day one. That is the single biggest reason these deals stall.

Step 01

Vision and user story workshop

Two to four weeks. We get the firm's people in a room, surface what they actually need, and leave with a prioritised user story set and a roadmap. Sold as a small standalone piece of work, so it is an easy first yes.

Step 02

Phase 1, fixed price

Twelve weeks. Capped, with no onward commitment. Narrow enough to go live and be used, rather than fully configured and ignored.

Step 03

Expansion by phase

The client decides whether to continue, and they usually do. Albert Goodman went Phase 1 then Phase 2. Milltown Partners is in a third phase.

Alongside

Feasibility workstreams

Technical feasibility and data migration feasibility run in parallel rather than blocking the build. It means integration risk gets answered early, before it becomes a reason to delay signature.

Deal shapes and indicative investment

Bands from real closed engagements, with the delivery timelines we actually run to. So you can size the services attach without surprising your buyer later.

Why adoption is the whole game

A portal nobody uses is a renewal you lose.

In professional services the risk is almost never configuration. It is whether fee earners, advisers and partners actually change how they work. That is what the workshop, the phasing and the ongoing support model are all built to solve, and it is why our clients tend to expand rather than churn.

Outreach copy, sequences, discovery questions and the lines that land, built from real conversations with law firms, accountancies, advisory firms and financial services businesses. Pick a sector, pick who you're talking to, and take what you need.

Rep tip

Reasons to reach out now

Find one of these before you write. One clear trigger beats a clever opener.

    Stage 1

    Prospect

Find a trigger, write to the right person and earn a reply. Everything here is built to get a first conversation, not a meeting with everyone.

    Who you're selling to

The people who start, shape and sign these deals. The champion is usually marketing, BD or operations. The signature usually sits with a board or partnership that never sees the demo.

Seven habits these buyers reply to

    Write an email

Pick an opener, a proof point and an ask. Add the prospect's details and your name, then copy. Keep first emails under 120 words.

    1

    3

    The ask

    The smallest useful next step

    Your email

    Subject:

Highlighted fields still need filling. Your details also fill in when you copy sequence steps and the intro email.

    Sequences

Multi-touch sequences for cold prospecting, each built around one trigger. Load them into HubSpot sequences and personalise the first line of every email. Days are working days from enrolment.

    Lines that land

Phrases that have moved real conversations in this sector, and why they work. Say them in your own words. On the right, the things that lose credibility fast, and what to say instead.

    Say this instead

    Stage 2

    Discover

Run a first call that finds the real problem, the deal shape and the decision date. Listen more than you talk.

    Discovery

Questions in the order a good first call runs. You won't need all of them. Pick three or four per stage, listen more than you talk, and write down their words, not yours.

    Which deal shape is this?

Most deals in this sector fit one of a few shapes. Match what you hear on the call to one of these, and you'll know what to ask next and what we can add.

    Stage 3

    Build the case

Handle the pushback and send something useful while the deal moves. Most deals are won or lost on the internal case, not the demo.

    Objections

Pushback in this sector first, then the questions that come up in every regulated firm. Each answer keeps the conversation open and ends on a next step.

    In this sector

    About HubSpot

    About using a partner

    Compliance questions that stall deals

    Things to send

Useful, non-salesy content that earns the next conversation. Where we have a ready-to-send message, it is under Content to send. For anything else, ask us for the current version and we'll send it the same day.

    Stage 4

    Bring us in

The earlier we're in the conversation, the more we can shape the deal with you. Here is what to listen for, and how to make the introduction.

Signals worth a call to us

If you hear one of these in this sector, tell us now. You don't need a qualified deal, a budget or a date.

What you can expect from us

      • We join the next conversation and talk to their risk, operations or BD people in their language
      • We complete security questionnaires directly with their risk team, so it doesn't sit on your desk
      • We start with a workshop and phase the work, so the first commitment is small
      • You keep the licence relationship and the account, and we tell you when we spot expansion

Three moments to call us early

These are the points where a partner changes the outcome most.

      Make the introduction

Send this to the buyer with us copied. Give us the context first, so we arrive prepared.

      Content to send

      Ready-to-send content, by sector

Assets from our partner Karman Digital that you can share with prospects, written in your voice. Pick a sector, copy the message, swap the placeholders and send. The same items are built into the sector sequences in the toolkit.

      Who we work with

Delivered and live clients only. Filter by sector, or search a system such as Intelliflo or InterAction to find the proof point you need.

Names are for your context, not your outreach. In emails and sequences, describe the client instead, for example "an award-winning challenger bank". Where we have an agreed descriptor, it is shown on the card.

What we have actually integrated, and for whom

Honest status against each. If it says feasibility or scoped rather than live, that is what it means.

Live or delivered today: Hatch for Intelliflo, DealCloud, Memberships portals, Xero and Moneypenny.

We also advise firms on their tech stack: middleware, a data warehouse or point-to-point connections. We are very familiar with those conversations, including solutions like Boomi and Snowflake, and will give an honest view on which route fits.
