About the agency & the team

Karman Digital is a UK-based HubSpot consultancy specialising in CRM, RevOps, integrations and web. We are a HubSpot Diamond Solutions Partner, which puts us in the top 3% globally, and a HubSpot Financial Services Industry Specialist. HubSpot is a cloud-based platform that unifies marketing, sales, service, and operations software.

We help professional services and regulated firms get more value from HubSpot by designing for humans first. Adoption, trust in data, and behaviour change matter more to us than platform configuration.

We work in short cycles, stay close to clients, and aim for visible progress early. Clear ownership, simple standards, and pragmatic decision-making matter here.

We are a small team, so you will not be one of forty graduates on a scheme. You will be on live client work, with support, from your first few weeks.

The role in a nutshell

This is the entry point into CRM consulting at Karman. You will learn to design and improve HubSpot so that it supports how real teams work day to day, and you will learn to help clients actually adopt it.

You will not be running client accounts on your own. Every piece of work you touch has a named owner above you and a named checker before anything reaches a client. That is how we work with everyone, and it means you can get stuck in without carrying risk you are not ready for.

The role you are growing into is Junior CRM Consultant. Beyond that sits HubSpot CRM Consultant (Delivery Lead), where you would run delivery on your own client accounts. We have written that job description too and we are happy to share it, because we would rather be clear about where this goes than vague about it.

What we offer

  • A dynamic, supportive workplace at a leading HubSpot Diamond Partner agency.
  • Professional development and growth opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits, including 30 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
  • Flexible work arrangements.
  • A role at the heart of our digital transformation initiatives.

What you will actually be doing

Learning HubSpot properly

  • Work through HubSpot certifications with time set aside for it, not squeezed around the edges.
  • Hands-on configuration in HubSpot: building, testing and improving portals alongside a senior consultant.
  • Learning how lifecycle stages, pipelines, properties, workflows and reporting fit together, and why the simple version is usually the right one.

Supporting delivery

  • Prepare for client sessions: agendas, materials, and the context the consultant needs to hand.
  • Capture what was agreed, write it down clearly, and chase the loose ends so nothing quietly drops.
  • Keep our delivery tooling honest: clear owners, decisions recorded, dependencies visible.
  • Test what we have built before a client sees it, against agreed acceptance criteria.

Adoption and enablement

  • Build training materials and guides that people actually use.
  • Run practical enablement sessions based on real client scenarios rather than platform tours, initially alongside a colleague and over time on your own.
  • Create lightweight documentation and handover materials that stop clients depending on a single super-user.

AI-first delivery

AI is a core part of how we work. It is a human enhancer, not the decision-maker. The consultant leads, applies judgement, and stays accountable for the outcome.

  • Use AI to turn messy inputs such as call recordings, emails and notes into clear summaries, options, risks and next actions.
  • Use AI to strengthen quality: checking automation logic, generating test scenarios, prompting for edge cases.
  • Contribute to how we do this as a company. Share prompts, templates and patterns, and raise issues early on accuracy, governance and security.

This is genuinely an area where a recent graduate can arrive ahead of the room. If you are already good at this, say so in your application.

What we are looking for

We are not expecting HubSpot experience or CRM experience. We will teach you that. What we cannot teach quickly is how you think, so that is what we will be assessing.

These five behaviours are how we work, how we will interview you, and how we will talk about your progress in your one to ones. They are not decoration.

  • Be curious by default. You ask why before how. You do a bit of digging and then come with a view, not just a list of questions.
  • Put people first. You listen properly, assume good intent, and adjust how you work depending on who you are working with. You can be direct without being sharp.
  • Own it and be accountable. You take clear responsibility, follow through, and close loops without being chased. If something is slipping, you say so early and bring options.
  • Be pragmatic and bias to action. You prefer a workable next step to a perfect plan. You share progress little and often and get feedback early rather than presenting something finished.
  • Learn out loud. You share what you have learnt, what went wrong, and what you would do differently. You help the people around you level up instead of keeping what you know to yourself.

Alongside those, one craft skill matters from day one: you can explain something complicated in plain English.

Practically

  • A degree in any discipline. We are genuinely open on subject. Design, social sciences, humanities, business and STEM graduates have all done well in roles like this.
  • Comfortable in a room with people more senior than you, whether that is clients or colleagues.
  • Able to work in a hybrid pattern based around Manchester.

Nice to have, not expected

  • Any exposure to CRM, marketing automation or data tools, including through a placement, a society role or a side project.
  • Any interest in professional services, legal or financial services.
  • Evidence of using AI tools well and thoughtfully.

How we will assess you

We do not run gamified online tests or ask you to record a video interview into a screen.

  • Stage one. A short application. A CV and a few paragraphs on your CV about why this opportunity appeals to you, in your own words. In the note, tell us about a time you took something confusing and made it clear for someone else. It does not need to be work. A university project, a society, a side project or a part-time job is all fine.
  • Stage two. A conversation with the Head of Delivery. Genuinely a conversation, not a competency script. We will be listening for the five behaviours above, particularly curiosity and learning out loud.
  • Stage three. A work sample. We give you a realistic and slightly messy client scenario, you get time to prepare, and we talk it through together. We are interested in the questions you ask before you answer, whether you get to a defensible structure, and whether you can explain it to someone non-technical. There is no single right answer, and we are not looking for HubSpot knowledge. What we are looking for is curiosity before answers, a pragmatic next step rather than a perfect plan, and whether you tell us what you are unsure about.

If you are close on some of this and unsure whether to apply, apply. We would rather read your application and decide together.
